Bio: I lead the QA team at Canva, building a quality culture that empowers our developers to build high-quality features and provide users with an exceptional experience. We enable rapid-delivery through scalable processes, and focus on prevention of issues rather than discovery.

My background spans various approaches to quality in different organisations and countries, with a strong alignment to agile principles, shift-left testing and a quality assistance model. My most challenging projects have been shifting team culture and processes to adapt to Cloud development and deployment, and highlighting the significance of infrastructure and scalability of services to improve reliability as well as functional correctness. 

I enjoy the technical side of the role, though my job satisfaction largely comes from building successful teams, supporting and empowering individuals, and solving problems to deliver measurable objective value to stakeholders.
